President Zuma release the Marikana Report

AMANDLA
Right now President Zuma is reading the findings of the Farlam Commission of inquiry.

Almost 3 years after the Marikana Massacre, the Farlam Commission investigating the massacre has handed its findings to President Zuma. 34 miners were gunned down by police, many in the back and with their hands raised in surrender. Click here to demand President Zuma release the report by the 1st May http://www.amandla.mobi/marikana_report

While there were concerns with the way the commission, which sat over 300 days was conducted, a substantial amount of evidence was presented to the commission which should be expected to make some important findings.

If we don’t act now, the report may be hidden away, delaying justice and the truth to the survivors of the massacre and the families of the deceased. Add your voice and join others asking President Zuma to release the Farlam Commission report by the 1st May http://www.amandla.mobi/marikana_report

The amandla. mobi community has campaigned for the screening of Miners Shot Down on e. tv and SABC, for Lonmin to meet its promises to the widows of the Marikana Massacre, and for our police to stop using the R-5 massacre rifle that allows police to shoot without fear of being charged with murder.

Together for justice,
